about Lucra Sports

Lucra Sports is a peer-to-peer sports gaming platform focused on providing fans with a safer, more social, and quicker touch way to engage with friends around sports than existing sports betting or fantasy offerings. Lucra is a skill-based platform that is live for iPhone users in 37 states. On our platform, users create contests around player performances across a variety of sports and set their own terms based on comprehensive publicly available data that we provide instead of playing against the House. Social is at the core of what we built at Lucra- you choose to send contests to a friend, a group, or the Lucra public feed, follow other friends’ activity, view head-to-head stats and group leaderboards and smack talk with friends or groups. All of this takes just seconds, a far more quick-touch process than any existing fantasy sports offerings.

why we are so excited:

Space: Peer-to-peer sports betting combines several attractive (sports betting) and under-penetrated (peer to peer gaming) markets. With a nascent, but evolving regulatory and legal landscape, the opportunities for us will only grow.

Stage: We are currently raising our Series A after a very successful seed round and product launch. We need to ramp up the team and take advantage of the early lead we have in our space.

Team: We are a team composed of repeat founders, ex-NFL Management, ex-Microsoft, ex-Goldman Sachs.

Investor Base: We are backed by some of the biggest names in sports, including NBA/MLB team owners, professional athletes and top-tier venture funds.

about the role

Lucra is looking for a driven executor to join the company and make an impact by being the jack-of-all-trade utility player. You’ll be working directly with the CEO on activities across the entire company to help the team execute across a variety of key milestones. This role is a foundational hire within our organization, with lots of exposure to different department heads. We are building for the future!

main responsabilites include
  • Help build presentations for partnership opportunities with brands and athletes, fundraising, and board meetings
  • Responsible for financial and operational activities for the CEO and department heads
  • Provide oversight and guidance’s to projects of high importance with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for overseeing operational projects as liaison within accounting, recruiting, sales, marketing and product
our ideal candidate
  • 2-4 years of experience in consulting, banking or startup
  • Driven and motivated executor ready to come in and build a great company
  • Ability to move initiatives forward quickly and with attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Powerpoint and Excel skills a must
  • Strong work ethic
  • Analyst/Data background a plus
