about Lucra
Lucra is a New York-based company that facilitates peer-to-peer competition in both the live sports you watch (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, PGA, Tennis) and 100+ recreational games you play (i.e., golf, cornhole, video games, fitness challenges, and more). Lucra allows its users to wager with their friends in a social, safe, and trackable way, creating a digital record of all your friendly wagers. Launched in October of 2021, after 18 months building a legal framework (banking, payment processing, compliance, KYC, etc.), the Lucra iOS and Android apps are currently available in over 40 states between its sports contests and recreational games. Lucra is changing the way fans engage with their friends by introducing a new social-first gaming experience.

about the role
This role is a foundational one within our organization with lots of opportunity for growth. We are looking for a full-time employee with a start date of ASAP. We are fully remote and open to all US locations. We are building for the future!
Non-Technical Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using SwiftUI.
- Drive the architectural design and development of iOS apps, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement SDKs that enhance our products.
- Optimize mobile applications for performance and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS trends and best practices.
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of iOS development experience.
- Proficiency in SwiftUI and strong knowledge of iOS architecture patterns.
- Experience with building and distributing SDKs is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio of past projects demonstrating your expertise.
