Lucra Sports is a peer-to-peer sports gaming platform that sits uniquely at the intersection of sports betting and fantasy sports. explanation of role

Lucra Sports Marketing Managers will be responsible for driving user adoption, hosting sponsored events, and soliciting customer feedback, amongst other aspects related to the promotion of the Lucra brand. This candidate will gain valuable experience in the areas of marketing, partnerships, budgeting, and user activations.

Candidates will be paired with other ambassadors on their campuses to ensure successful program management. The highest quality candidates will be selected to oversee several schools and regions programs.

This position will run from September to November 2022, with the potential to renew (and get promoted) for Jan-May 2023 depending on performance. The candidate will work with various teams across Lucra (marketing, strategy, product) and report to Lucra’s Business Development Manager, Raebekkah Pratt-Clarke.

  • Utilize social networks, student groups, and campus connections to onboard and retain Lucra users
  • Host Lucra campus wide competitions & events
  • Assist the Lucra team on product design, customer profiling, and GTM strategy
  • Play at least 10 contests/week using the free-play provided by Lucra
  • Serve as campus point of contact for Lucra
  • Attend Lucra meetings to review leaderboards, performance, and discuss strategies for success
  • Promote events by hosting “campus takeovers” on Lucra social channels before and during events
  • Facilitate and participate in content shoots for promotional materials, merch, etc.
  • Capture and submit content from Lucra events - both pictures and videos
  • Coordinate with Lucra managers at other schools for interschool competitions
  • Bonus: can create original content; well versed on social trends; passionate about sports marketing

  • Previous experience planning and running events
  • Diverse and well-rounded with the ability to connect with varied groups of people
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Immersed in student life with thorough understanding of the university, city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot-spots
  • Encompasses a creative mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior working towards a bachelor's degree
