Explanation of Role

Lucra is looking for Campus Ambassadors! The goal of the ambassador program is to reach new users, get university students excited about the app, and manage the Lucra brand at their campus. Gain experience in marketing, sales, and get access to the real inner workings of a sport and tech startup!

This is a seasonal position for currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students only. This position will run from January to May 2023.

The Day to Day

  • Acquire users through a variety of channels including but not limited to: local partnerships, campus events, and advertising campaigns
  • Own your campus in regards to developing relationships within your community to drive platform growth
  • Become a Lucra expert to be able convert users quickly and effectively

  • Gregarious personality with hustle and grit, always down to talk to anyone!
  • The campus legend who's always down for a good time!
  • A sophomore, junior, or senior working towards a bachelor's degree

Compensation & Incentives

  • Receive $20 per user acquired
  • Provided with an adequate budget to host events and acquire customers
  • Opportunity to attend virtual lunch and learn sessions and connect with Lucra staff across various departments (design, product, marketing, strategy, etc)
  • Free merch and free play on the Lucra app
  • Consideration for internship/full-time position

About Lucra

Lucra is a social app that lets fans compete against each other for real money. The product facilitates peer-to-peer competition on the professional sports you watch (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, PGA, Tennis) and 100+ recreational games you play (i.e., golf, cornhole, video games, fitness challenges, and more). Lucra allows its users to wager with their friends in a social, safe, and trackable way, creating a digital record of all your friendly wagers. Launched in October of 2021, after 18 months building a legal framework (banking, payment processing, compliance, KYC, etc.), the Lucra iOS app is currently available in over 40 states between its sports contests and recreational games. Lucra is changing the way fans engage with their friends by introducing a new social-first gaming experience.
